Intellicare Alert: Andre Shows It’s Possible to show Patients insurance on the Schedule in Eaglesoft with a Custom Intellicare
Many Eaglesoft users ask: ”How can I see what kind of insurance my patients have on the schedule?”
It’s possible with a Custom Intellicare. If you don’t know what Intellicare Alerts are, take a look at these videos:
To show an Intellicare Icon on the schedule and/or the virtual operatory screen you can have to contact the Patterson Technology Center (“Support”) and ask them to create a Custom Intellicare based on a Specific Insurance Company or multiple Insurance Companies from your list of insurance companies. This is how they would look on the schedule:
The Custom IC will look like this:
As a reminder: Intellicare are one of those things that if not properly written, can "crash" a system.
ICs actually have this warning in the Schedule setup:
WARNING! – Do not use this option without the assistance of a Patterson Support Specialist. Please contact Customer Service if you are trying to create an Intellicare item that is not addressed by the standard options provided within this interface.
…and in the Schedule setup:
*Using Intellicare indicators may impact overal OnSchedule performance.”
In RED letters (with the typo in the word overall)
I set up Custom Intellicare Alerts all the time when I do Eaglesoft Master Classes in-office, but I was taught how to do them.
